A key development in the blues world is the plethora of young artists arriving on the scene, and one that is already among the best is Harrell "Young Rell" Davenport. Be sure to check out this 19-year-old bluesman's new album, Young Rell, this month's Pick Hit.

It was pure genius to pair veteran blues/soul singers Johnny Rawls & Dave Keller for a Tribute To Soul, this month's Surprise pick.

For the second straight issue we take a look back at a an album by one of the iconic blues pioneers, with this month's Flashback recalling Brownsville Blues by Sleepy John Estes.
